PROFESSIONS AND DISCIPLINES

Assignments may involve civil and structural, industrial, mechanical, electrical, process and energy engineers, fire prevention and protection engineers, and specialists in infrastructure and technical safety. Their work focuses on understanding processes, buildings, equipment, utilities, protection systems, critical dependencies, maintenance conditions and loss scenarios.
Architects, building engineers, construction economists and quantity-surveying specialists provide a structured assessment of real-estate assets. They analyse plans, floor areas, materials, construction systems, uses, regulatory requirements and the components of reconstruction cost.
Valuation specialists combine asset knowledge, economic analysis and command of valuation bases. Depending on the purpose of the mandate, they address replacement or reconstruction cost as new, value after depreciation, Fair Market Value, Usage Value or any other expressly defined basis. They structure the data and prepare Statements of Values.
Senior technicians and field specialists work directly with the installations. They contribute to physical surveys, equipment identification, quantity checks, nameplate readings, document collection and the creation of a reliable technical baseline.
Claims specialists bring together loss adjusters, engineers, financial analysts and Business Interruption professionals. They analyse circumstances and causation, examine material damage, assess reinstatement costs and quantify business interruption losses.
These professionals provide a complementary view of the economic, contractual and strategic consequences of risk. They contribute to insurance programme reviews, risk financing and transfer, due diligence and the examination of policy coverage.
Data and digital specialists structure the information generated by assignments: asset databases, Asset Registers, analytical tools, dashboards, digital documentation and three-dimensional representations. Inventys® and VRA3D strengthen the use and presentation of information without replacing expert professional judgement.
ROUX CYBER’s expertise is organised exclusively around Cyber Risk Assessment / Cyber Engineering Risk Survey and Cyber Claims Adjusting on behalf of the insured. Specialist digital investigation may be incorporated into the Claims mandate to establish causation, preserve relevant evidence and support the claim; it is not presented as a standalone activity.

Examines technical vulnerabilities, prevention and protection measures, critical dependencies and loss scenarios. Its primary purpose is risk analysis and control.
Identifies, inventories, classifies and values the assets to be declared under the insurance programme. It leads in particular to a structured schedule of values and a Statement of Values prepared in accordance with the adopted bases.
Serves an economic, financial, accounting or transactional purpose. The basis of value, including Fair Market Value or Usage Value, is determined by the purpose of the mandate and the intended use of the conclusions.
Addresses causation, the extent of damage, reinstatement costs, business interruption losses and the structuring of the insured’s claim following a loss.
